Housing , Student Activities and Graduation Department

In the academic year, 2010-2011, HSAG Department have planned, organized and conducted a lot and variety of activities in collaboration with the different societies within the college and the external community outside the college.

These activities have been done either to promote specific occasion like Census, Omani women day, national day, teacher’s day, mother’s day and traffic week or to contribute with the external community such as lectures on first aids, blood donation.

Some others include either recreational purpose such as ongoing evenings to promote students’ creativity, intelligence and talents or academic purposes like speech competition and departmental events.

Such activities have built good and well-known relationship with both the public sector and the private sector either by sponsoring these activities or by presenting needed ideas for the students such as the ideas to promote optimism, talents and recreational manner and self-confidence.

The department also tries to enhance the academic side within the leisure and entertainment side. By doing this, the students have benefited a lot through linking the acquired theoretical aspects with the practical one; therefore, they can apply what they have already learned to some concrete outcomes.

This has helped them to exhibit their understanding of their studied courses to other students in a more recognizable way through different participation in different activities. This by the time would lead to better graduate attributes.
