The International English Language Teaching Symposium (IELTS-2022) was hosted at UTAS-Ibri on 29 and 30 June 2022 with a lofty theme, “Pathways, Paradigms and Possibilities (PPP) in ELT.” It was hosted when education institutions, systems, governments, and policy planners were exploring opportunities to fortify the education sector worldwide. The reason for new approaches, methods and ways for revamping education system in every conceivable way was the upheavals caused by the pandemic across the globe. It was a virtual and in-person conglomeration of researchers, professionals, experts, and amateurs who presented their research papers, facilitated round table discussions, displayed posters, and conducted workshops. The two-day symposium invited 15 keynote speakers, and around 120 presenters and co-presenters (including virtual and in-person) shared their views on the mega-platform. It was a gateway for navigating pathways for effective teaching and learning processes in the English Language Teaching. It became a medium to maximize language learning effectiveness based on the new paradigms as it opened the world of immense possibilities to make language learning meaningful.
