About the Symposium

The work environment has undergone significant changes due to contemporary developments. The classic work environment is giving way to a new era as digital natives increasingly constitute the majority of the workforce. Thus, there is a necessity to keep pace with the rapid changes the world is witnessing in all aspects of life, including work itself. In line with the Government’s efforts to foresight the future, and in line with the mission of UTAS to build competitive and innovative capabilities by providing a stimulating environment and effective engagement with community and industry, the College of Economics and Business Administration (CEBA), UTAS, Ibri, is organizing a two-day International Symposium on the overall theme of “Emerging Trends in Shaping the Future of Work” for intellectual deliberations on new possibilities. The Symposium intends to provide a platform to bring together the creative minds of academicians, researchers, policymakers, and representatives from the industry and other stakeholders for sharing knowledge and discussing the latest issues and practices shaping the future of work and workplace.
