Emerging Trends in Finance Education

The Staff Development Committee (SDC) of the Business Studies Department organized an online session titled "Emerging Trends in Finance Education" on Thursday, 21 October 2021 from 12:00 p.m to 12:50 p.m. The session started with a welcoming address by Dr Mohammed Quadir Mohiudeen by introducing the resource persons. In the beginning, Mr Vinod Chandran, FCA, CEO of My Logic delivered a speech about the latest trends in finance education. The session was extended by Ms Shahana Sivakumar, ACCA Trainer, with an insight of ACCA, CIMA and IFRS. The session focused on the finance education trends and opportunities for career development. At the end of the session, the participants raised their doubts to the speakers about the discussed matters. The number of staff and students who attended the session was around 28.
