Workshop on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”

The Business Studies Department, represented by Mr Mohammed Al-Sakiti, HRM Lecturer, participated in a comprehensive training program organized by the Directorate General of Education in Al Dhahira Governorate. The main aim of the training program was to enhance school teachers’ knowledge and skills in different relevant areas, such as entrepreneurship, innovation, entrepreneurship ecosystem, business plan, feasibility studies, etc. The program was designed also to train teachers on how to teach the course “Entrepreneurship” to 10th-grade students. Mr Mohammed delivered two online workshops on 16th and 23rd November 2021 highlighting the role of innovation in enhancing entrepreneurship activities. More than 60 teachers from different local schools. The participants expressed their satisfaction and requested the speaker to deliver more sessions in the future.
