Open Data Workshop

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit (IEU), represented by its member, Mr Shafi Al-Shukri, participated in a workshop on “The Importance of Open Data in Innovation and its Impact on the Labour Market” from 21st to 22nd of August 2019 at Salalah Gardens Hotel. The workshop was organised by the Arab Labour Organisation (ALO). It emphasized on the importance of open data in enhancing entrepreneurship activities in the job market, the role of ALO in the field of open data, the impact of open data on the 4th Industrial Revolution and the opportunities and challenges of open data in the Arab world. It was delivered by experts from both ALO and Oman.
