E-Portfolio: Merits and Demerits of Using It" Training Session

The Staff Professional Development at the Preparatory Studies Centre (PSC) conducted a training session entitled: “eportfolio” for Level 2 Teachers, on Thursday, 19 October 2023.The presenter was Mr Jabez Syam, CPS staff member. The session mainly focused on the use of MS teams features such as: How to create a page in Teacher Only space (single page), create a section for all students in their notebooks (ePortfolio) and distribute the created page into the sections. Mr Syam highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of using eportfolio. At the end he shared some tips to use MS Teams features in an effective way such as single page eportfolio, Insert File Print out, use Term Planner and study Schedule to check the updates, use √/×, and comments in the contents table and use OneNote to make a backup / get a softcopy (pdf). The training session received positive feedback from the participants.
