Seminar on [Educational] Testing, Measurement, and Assessment or Evaluation

The Staff Development Committee of the Engineering department, organized program titled “Seminar on [Educational] Testing, Measurement, and Assessment or Evaluation” on Thursday, 13rd, October 2022 at 2.00 PM to 3:00 PM. The program session addressed by Mrs.Lizette Ivy C. Pascual, Lecturer, Electrical Engineering. 

The content of the presentation is about the testing, educational measurement assessment versus evaluation, types of tests, characteristics and functions of educational measurement types of evaluation evaluative tools and techniques etc.

She started her seminar with the clear clarification about the assessment and evaluation. She elaborated briefly about Standardized test Versus Teacher-Made Tests and also she explained the types of Evaluation like Placement Evaluation, Formative Evaluation, Diagnostic Evaluation, Summative Evaluation etc. She concluded the seminar with the evaluation Tools and Techniques with some examples.

The session was very interactive, many faculties from engineering department were participated in the discussions. The staff members felt that the presentation was very much useful and effective. Totally 44 staffs were participated.
