To mitigate the effect of global warming, global leaders build a strong international treaty called “Paris Agreement”. The sultanate of Oman also has confirmed that the sultanate has made a contribution to reducing the carbon footprint by 2% from 2020 to 2030. Also, one of the Oman vison 2040 is focus on renewable energy with diversified sources and a reduced consumption to achieve energy security.
