Report on UTAS Academic Bylaws

The Staff Development Committee of the Engineering Department organized a program on "Awareness on UTAS Academic Bylaws" on 23rd March 2023 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM in the Multi-Purpose Hall (B102). The program aimed to provide clarity on the UTAS Academic Bylaws applicable to students enrolled from Semester 1, 22-23. Mr.Raghupathi Senthivel, the registration committee coordinator of the Engineering Department and Lecturer, Electrical Engineering Section delivered the program.
He began the program by elaborating on the Academic Calendar, Credit Hours, and Study levels etc. He also explained the course audit and the various new procedures that the students must follow. Finally he mentioned the new criteria and requirements for moving the next level.
The awareness program’s success is a testament to the Staff Development Committee's efforts in organizing the program. The participants appreciated the committee's efforts and expressed their desire to attend similar programs in the future. They also suggested inviting more external experts to share their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.
