Awareness on Research Article Publications

The Research and consultancy committee of the engineering department organized an awareness programme on research article publication, “Awareness on Research Article Publications” on April 27, 2023 from 12.30 PM to 01.30 PM. Dr Stephen Leon.J, Lecturer in engineering department conducted the program. The presentation emphasized the importance of publishing research articles in peer-reviewed journals. Various journal indexes are explained clearly. A full explanation is provided on how to pick an excellent journal based on its site score, SNIP rating, SJR rating, and other factors. Aside from that, special attention was paid to the impact of research article publishing on the participant's own research profile. Author position in a journal, h index, and i10 index were all explained in depth. All the participants benefited from this program.
