Engineering Department Celebrates the 49th Oman National Day

The Sultanate of Oman celebrated the National Day on 18 November 2019 in honour of our beloved majesty, Sultan Qaboos, and the people of Oman.  The Engineering Department, with the initiative of the Engineering Society and Engineering Student Club (ESC), held a simple celebration at the Engineering lobby / Engineering Department reception area.

The Engineering Society and the ESC did not want the auspicious occasion to simply pass by like any other day and planned on preparing something to make the day special.

Staff members and students shared coffee, halwa, and sweets that ESC female members prepared.  The ESC male members, on the other hand, are preparing a Showcase of Classic Cars which will held on 25 November 2019 when our college is scheduled to celebrate the National Day, in front of the Engineering Department Building.
