Training Programs Offered to the Local Community

As part of its operational plan for the AY 22/23, the Business Studies Department offered 9 training programs to the local community targeting employees in the public and private sector, students in HEIs and entrepreneurs. All the training programs were delivered by Business faculty members during the period of 24th March and 7th April 2022 as follows:

  • Finance for non-finance (delivered by Dr Abdulrahman Al Ismaili, HoD, Business Studies Department)
  • How to be creative at work (delivered by Mr Mohammed Al Sakiti, HRM lecturer)
  • Basics of e-commerce (delivered by Ms Safiya Al Hamdi, HoS of the HR section, Business Studies Department)
  • How to use SPSS (delivered by Ms Afrah Al Hatmia, Business lecturer)
  • Advance Excel & Access in decision-making for professionals (delivered by Dr Mohammed Abed & Dr Zubaida)
  • Enhancing selling and persuasion skills (delivered by Dr Mastan, HRM lecturer)
  • Training needs analysis (delivered by Dr Mohammed Quadir, HRM lecturer)
  • Application of OB concepts in organizations (delivered by Mr Rajesh, HRM lecturer)
  • Common mistakes in Arabic writing (delivered by Dr Abduljaleel, Arabic language lecturer)

The participants expressed their satisfaction about the offered programs and suggested different topics to be covered in the near future. An electronic certificate was given to all participants who attended the training programs.
