The Risk Management Committee of the Department of Business Studies organised a risk awareness programme in two sessions, for the students on Tuesday 27 March 2018, from 8:00am to 8:30am in Class Room C003 and from 2pm to 2:30pm in Room number C004. The aim of the programme was to make students aware of various risks and enrich their knowledge on Risk Management.
Mr Enthiyaz Khan, coordinator of the Risk Management Committee, gave a presentation on risk awareness in which he discussed the types of risks and how to manage them. Around 47 students participated in the programme and benefitted from it. They got a good understanding of what a risk is, procedures to identify the risk, types of risks along with suitable examples, tools to identify the risk, and how to monitor, analyse, and treat risks.
The session was very interesting and interactive which enriched the knowledge of the students on Risk Management.
