Report on “Fire safety, use of fire extinguishers and creating awareness on evacuation procedures”

On 30 May 2018 an orientation programme on “Fire safety, use of fire extinguishers and creating awareness on evacuation procedures” was conducted by the Health and Safety Committee in collaboration with the Risk Management Committee, Department of Business studies, Ibri College of Technology. The programme was conducted for different levels of Business students.

The objective of the programme was to create awareness among the students of the Business Department. In this context, Mr Enthiyaz Khan gave a presentation on the Fire Triangle, fire extinguishing basic principles, fire classification, types of fire extinguishers and method of using fire extinguishers, rules of fighting fire, and first aid for fire injury. The presentation was well organised and enriched the knowledge of audients.
