Report on “Fire safety, use of fire extinguishers and creating awareness on evacuation procedures”

On behalf of the Health, Safety, and Risk Management committees, a programme on “Fire safety, use of fire extinguishers and creating awareness on evacuation procedures” was conducted by the Business Department on 15 M ay 2018 in room number 91A. The Health and safety Committee and Risk management Committee Coordinator, Mr Enthiyaz Khan, was the speaker on the topic. In his presentation, he spoke about the Fire Triangle, fire extinguishing basic principles, fire classification, types of fire extinguishers and method of using fire extinguishers, rules of fighting fire, and first aid for fire injury. The presentation was well organised and enriched the knowledge of audience.
