How to Manage Time and Interact with Students

The Staff Development Committee and the E-learning Committee of the Engineering Department organised a presentation “How to Manage Time and Interact with Students” on 6 July 2021 from 2 to 2:45 pm through MS-Teams. Dr Prasanna Venkatesh Dhayanithi explained the Breakout features in MS-Teams in detail. He explained how to create breakout rooms; how to assign participants in breakout rooms; and how to rename breakout rooms. He also explained various settings available in MS-Team breakout rooms.   

The presenter assigned the attendees of the meeting into five breakout rooms. A mock brainstorming session was arranged for ten minutes. He explained other settings involved in the MS-Team breakout rooms. The participants raised some queries, and these were clarified. The participants felt that MS-Breakout room features would be very useful for conducting brainstorming sessions with students.
