Report on Emotional Intelligence

The Staff Development Committee of the Engineering department and Information Technology, organized online program titled "Emotional Intelligence” on Thursday, 27th, January 2022 at 1:00 PM. The program session addressed by Dr. M.G.Saravanaraj, Director, Industry & Institute Relations, Mahendra Educational Institution, Salem, Tamilnadu, India.               

In his presentation, he explained the significance of Emotional Intelligence, while the faculties dealing with the students and colleagues. He describe few suggestions to improve faculty’s emotions. He pointed the benefits of Emotional Intelligence in human life and he distinguished the intelligence quotient (IQ) and the Emotional Intelligence (EI). He suggested steps to improve EI and also proposed action plan. The session was very interactive, many faculty from different department were participated in the discussions. The staff members felt that the presentation was very much useful and effective. Totally 54 staffs were participated.
