Induction Program for New Students of the Engineering Department

IbriCT’s Engineering Department took in new students this semester who needed to be oriented on the rules, regulations, processes, and procedures that each Engineering Student ought to know in his or her days in the college. Therefore, a series of induction programmes were held in the CECE 1100 (Engineering Graphics) classes.
There are currently eight (8) CECE 1100 sections and the programmes have been held since 11 February 2018 depending on the availability of the assigned speakers and the class schedule. Some of the sections had their induction programmes after the Midterm Examination schedules, up to 6 March 2018, due to the cancellation and/or suspension of the classes a few days before the start of the Midterm Examinations.
Dr Ilankumaran (HOS of Electrical and Electronics Section), Dr Elangovan (HOS of Mechanical and Industrial Section), Dr Geetha (Registration Coordinator for Engineering Department), and Mr Ragupathi (Registration Coordinator for Engineering Department) took turns as the speakers.
