The Staff Development Committee of the Engineering Department organised an awareness programme on “Institutional Standard Assessment” on Wednesday, 31 October 2018 from 1pm to 2pm.
Mr Guru Prasad, QAU head, conducted the programme.
The programme started with a detailed explanation of the institutional accreditation system and its various stages. A detailed explanation was given about the different milestones achieved by the institution as it moves towards the accreditation process, and future challenges we face in this regard.
After his presentation, participants had a clearer idea about the college vision, mission, goals, strategies, KPIs, policies and procedures, the responsibility of lecturers as a coordinator in a committee, and OAAA standards. The programme concluded with an explanation about the OAAA commendations, affirmation and recommendations received from past audits.
This programme was well received by the staff and highly beneficial to the participants.
