An Awareness Programme on New Policies

The Staff Development Committee of the Engineering Department organised a programme on “An Awareness Programme on New Policies” on 30 January 2020 from 1.30 to 2.30 pm. Dr V.  Illankumaran, HoS (Electrical and Electronics), delivered the presentation for the benefit of the staff members. He gave a general introduction to the Ministry of Manpower and college policies and their framework. His presentation focused mainly on procedures related to staff and staff support services such as staff grievances, staff severance, exit interview and handover policies. He also explained the moderation and examination policy and its framework followed in our college. The speaker finally concluded the presentation with the Research and Benchmark Policy. The staff members felt that the presentation was very useful and effective.
