IBRICT Participation in REVERA-2017 at WALJAT College of Applied Science

From IBRICT, a team of 13 students from IT Department have participated in REVERA-2017, an Intercollegiate/School IT competitions held at WALJAT College of Applied Sciences on 9th May, 2017 in Muscat. Students from NCT, IBRICT, ICT, ACT, HCT, Waljat College of Applied Sciences and Caledonian College of Engineering have participated in the competitions for college level events and students from various Indian Schools in Sultanate of Oman likewise have participated in the competitions for school level events. The events include Project Demonstration, Web Development, Digital Poster Making, Android Application Development, & Technical Quiz.
Ibri College of Technology students participated in four (4) events and brought home prizes in two events. The team of Sara Said Al-Shukaili, Hasna Rashid Al-Ghasaani and Hajer Hamed Al-Shukaili won 2nd prize in “Android Application Development” and the other team, “Duha Obaid Saif Al-Farsi & Wedad Humood Al-Maqarshi won 2nd prize in “Poster Design”.
The students who participated in the other events like Web Development & Technical Quiz were Khulood Nasser Al-Nassri, Khoula Saif Al-Maqbali, Khazeena Said Alalawi, Arwa Humaid Al-Majrafi, Mariya Mubarek Al-Alawi, Mohammed ZahirAl-lamki, Akram Salim Hamed Al-Shukaili, and Aflah Humaid Salim Said Al Shuaili.
The students were accompanied by Mr. S.Rajasekaran, an IT Lecturer. The event was well organized and our students have gained lots of memorable experience especially in the spirit of competitions. We hope that our students will do best in the future with the full support of the Department and the College, as well.
