Projector Training 

Academic Support Committee of IT Department organized the ‘Projector Training’ for the staff members of the department to make them familiar with new ViewSonic projector and smart features available in it. The session was composed of two parts. Mr Wiled started each session by explaining the components and the basic connections of the new ViewSonic Projectors installed in the new labs. He also explained how to operate the new device from using the HDMI connectivity, the sound, and controls of the projector. He shared basic troubleshooting steps in case the projector is out of alignment or not functioning properly. He advised the members that after performing the basic troubleshooting steps and these do not solve the issue, then it is time to call ETC for technical support.

The second half of both sessions were delivered by Mr Roderick where he discussed the different features of Active Inspire software that can be helpful for making classes more interactive.

The overall feedback for the program is 4 out of 5. Nineteen staff members attended and completed the survey.
