The ETC Staff Development team conducted a social activity at the Multi-purpose Hall on 25 January 2018.
The objective of the session was to develop team building and socialisation in a form of activities.
First, the ETC HoC gave his welcoming message. He encouraged the centre staff to cooperate in all centre activities and thanked the organizers as well.
The first of two activities was titled Game of Possibilities. The objective of the activity is to inspire creativity and individual innovation. The group from CSS and ESS got the final answer and won the activity.
After that, the centre’s Best Speaker for Semester 1 award was given to Mr Ferdinand de Los Reyes. His topic was “Fire Safety and First Aid”. The criteria for selecting the centre best speaker was based on the survey questionnaire given after each activity.
The second activity followed, titled “Barter Puzzle”. The activity relied heavily on problem-solving and leadership skills. Three teams of six members were created and the group from the library and CSS solved the puzzle the quickest.
The activity ended with the awarding of the winners from two activities given.
