The English Society organized the Speaking Café at IbriCT on 30 January 2018 for the first time. The members of Students’ Activities Committee have made an outstanding effort to make the program successful. The program received excellent feedback from the students. The whole Speaking Café was full of enthusiastic activities for the students.
The aim of the Speaking Café is to provide a stress-free atmosphere for students to interact, take counseling and get motivation from teachers. In the Speaking Café, four supplementary courses were offered for the foundation and post-foundation students. The courses are:
- 30 Minutes One-to-One Teacher Tutoring Class (Writing/Reading/ Speaking)
- Free Discussion and Personality Development Class
- Speaking Class: Learning Daily Conversations through Video Clips and Role-Playing Peer Tutoring (Learning English with Top Students) The Speaking Café will be available on every Tuesday during the semester from 12:00-13:00.
The English Society would like to thank Dr. Sultan for initiating the idea of Speaking Café.
