The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Section of the Engineering Department, Ibri College of Technology, held another Project Orientation Program for Semester 2, 2017-2018 for students registered in Project Courses in this semester.

A Project Orientation Program was already held on 29 November 2017 for those who will be taking Project courses for this semester. However, quite a number of students were not able to attend at that time and this prompted the Project Coordinators, Mr Subramaniyan (EE) and Mr Sajid (ECE), to hold another session on 18 January 2018, 10:00 am, at the Multi-Purpose Hall with 41 students present.

Dr V Ilankumaran, Head of Section for Electrical and Electronics Engineering, addressed the students and emphasized the need to plan for functional, worthwhile, and presentable projects that the college will be proud of. He reiterated the need to properly complete pertinent forms and procedures and that the circuit on breadboard be tested properly for functionality before mounting it on General-Purpose Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). Also, whenever possible, they have to perform circuit simulation on Proteus, Multi-SIM, or MATLAB, whichever is applicable.
