As a part of Health & safety activities, awareness programs are conducted on health, fire safety and road safety. In continuation of the awareness programs, H&S committee in coordination with departments and center organized a fire evacuation drill for the entire college campus to create awareness and practice procedures to be followed in case of fire emergency. The drill is carried out on March 13, 2018 at 11.20 AM.
After the fire alarm all the people stayed in the building are evacuated systematically without any hindrance in a short period of time (5 minutes 38 seconds) and assembled in the assembly point.
Similar activities of fire evacuation are carried out in the Engineering Building. Fire extinguishing procedure is demonstrated near the assembly point of Engineering building for the benefit of students and staff.
