They presented a paper titled, “Effective Teaching and Meaningful Learning through SCL: Beliefs and Practices”.

The paper briefs on the contemporary beliefs and best practices in Student Centered Learning (SCL), with special reference to Colleges of Technology, Oman. It suggests an alternative paradigm that strikes a balance between TCL and SCL that facilitates meaningful learning in a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment. The paper deals with discussions leading to a prospective designing of an educational framework that ‘educate’ a learner for life, to enhance their skills and develop competencies rather than merely ‘train’ him to perform specific tasks.

The paper was delivered effectively and was appreciated at the symposium.
