Awareness Programme on “New policies”

Dr V.Ilankaumaran, HoS, Electrical Section and Mr. Naik Sreenivas Naik, lecturer, Engineering Department, conducted the programme.

The workshop started with a brief overall introduction about all the policies and their status (Approved/Waiting for approval/Under review). Detailed explanation was given to the newly approved policies namely, Mobile Phone and Gadgets Policy, Feedback to Students Policy, Communication Policy, Academic integrity and honesty for the college of technology (plagiarism policy), Student Advising Policy, Student Examination Appeal Policy and Exit Interview Policy.

In this presentation, procedures to be followed on the implementation of the above mentioned seven policies were clearly discussed. The purpose and reason for the development of these new policies were explained in the view of creating awareness on following the implementation procedures.

This programme was well received by the staff and highly beneficial to the participants.
