Data Analysis Using SPSS

 The presentation was on data analysis using SPSS. The presenter covered the following points:

1. How to install SPSS and YouTube video links on how to install SPSS from the IBM website.
2. The layout of SPSS, Variable view, and Data view.
3. Different attributes of the variable view, row, column etc.
4. How to classify data into different scales.
5. How to convert text data to numeric data using the value attribute of the variable view.
6. How to define variables and enter data from the keyboard.
7. How to import data from an MS Excel file.
8. How to clean and edit data.
9. How to handle missing data.
10. How to handle Likert scale questionnaire answers.
11. How to get descriptive statistics like mean, median, mode, variance, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, range etc.
12. How build a chart viz. Pie chart, Bar graph, Histogram, Boxplot, Scatter plots etc.

Seventy participants attended the meeting. Attendees has good interaction that reflects the interest of the participants. At the end of the session, the participants asked to share the presentation slides and recording of the session. Feedback links were shared among the participants and the average score of the session’s feedback was 4.6 out of 5.
