Fire Safety and First Aid For New Student

On November 17, 2022, the health and safety committee coordinator Mr. Isabelo D. Paat gave a presentation titled "Fire Safety and First Aid for new students” for the IT department. The presenter outlined its Health and Safety rules, practices, First Aid Procedures poster, contacts, emergency exits and assembly areas in cases of emergencies. The presentation aimed at conducting awareness among new students.

The virtual tour on the UTAS website was used so that the participants could experience and visualize where all the IT Health and Safety First Aid Kits, fire extinguishers, and alarm buttons were located. At the end of the presentation, a feedback was taken and as a result, 17 participants rated the presenter 4.25 on a scale of 1-5 where 5 is the highest.
