The Information Technology Department, through the Staff Development Committee, conducted a programme entitled Awareness on Institutional Standard Assessment Programme on 4 October 2018, in A109.
The aim of this programme was to give awareness of the accreditation process and IAS to staff The speaker, Mr VA Guruprashat, started his presentation by explaining major components such as the college vision, mission, goals, sub goals, strategies, and KPIs. He explained the accreditation process and ISA. He continued by explaining the ongoing quality assurance activities in the college. The speaker and staff asked and answered questions enthusiastically, thus making the session interactive. Staff members received awareness on the accreditation process and many issues related to the ISA process.
The head of the IT department, Dr Duhai Al Shukaili, presented a certificate of appreciation to the speaker. The event ended at 2.50pm and 34 staff members benefitted from the event.
Feedback was collected from members attending the seminar. The majority showed their satisfaction on the arrangements done. On the scale of 5, average feedback was 3.94.
