Prolog Programming Workshop

The Staff Development Committee of Information Technology Department organised a workshop on Prolog Programming on 5 February 2019. The workshop was conducted by Mr V.A. Guruprasath, Lecturer, Information Technology, to all staff of the department. 

The main objective of the workshop was to give the preliminary concepts in Prolog programming. The workshop started at 12 noon in Computer Laboratory 1. The speaker started the workshop by explaining the differences between the Prolog language and conventional programming languages such as C, C++ etc. He then used examples to explain the List operations and Backtracking concepts. 

The speaker motivated the participants to do projects using Prolog and he explained Prolog applications. He added activities to make the programming concepts easy to understand. The feedback for the workshop was 4.28. It ended at 2pm.
