IQAC of the Business Studies Department organized the Student Induction Programme, for the students joined in Diploma in May 2017 and September 2017 of AY 2016-17 and 2017-18 in Lecture Theatre at 11 a.m on Tuesday 26, September,2017. Dr. Surendar, IQAC coordinator of the department conducted the session. The session was organised in coordination with the registration committee of BSD.
The presentation was organized by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ibri in conference hall on 20th September,2017. It was started at 10.00 a.m. and finished at 11.30 a.m. The session was enlightened by Mr.Adil Alkalbani ,with the slide presentation and videos and shared his experiences with the students. He was giving various information like Importance of business in human life, careers and free business, creating relationship with customers, marketing techniques and features of successful businessman. The students who are studying entrepreneurship numbered 30 were participated and received useful tips to start a business life.
The Staff Research and Consultancy Committee of the Business Studies Department organized a presentation on “Enhancing Student-Centered Learning Environment” last March 20, 2017.
