The Entrepreneurship Committee and College OJT committee organized the Exhibition on the eve of National Day of Oman Celebrations in Reception area in our college on 21st November 2017. It started at 09.00 a.m. and finished at 02.30 p.m. It was inaugurated by Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Nasser AlMarshoodi, Security officer in British Petroleum (BP),Sultanate of Oman in the presence of College Dean - Dr. Said Masoud Kashoob, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs - Mr.Younus Al Zaabi , College authorities, Teachers and Students.

In order to orient and educate students more in Entrepreneurship, other than what they may have already learned in Entrepreneurship (Engineering Diploma Year 1 course), the Engineering Society held a program which featured IbriCT alumnus, Mr. Marwan Awadh Al-Yaquobi, to speak about his experiences in starting his own Real Estate Trading Business.

SME-Development Fund in collaboration with college of technologies, conducted its first campus training sessions in its scheduled series of training in IBRICT on 8th and 9th of May,2017 in Multipurpose Hall from 8a.m to 4 p.m. On behalf of the college, the training was organised by Mr. Manikandan Sathyamoorthy, The coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Committee of the BSD. The target audience of the training was students who are currently studying entrepreneurship course across all the departments. There were 260 students in all. There were four sessions on each day of the training, and every section of students is required to attend a minimum of two sessions.

Ibri College of Technology’s Entrepreneurship Committee with OJT College Committee organized an entrepreneurship development program on renewable energy technologies. They collaborated with NAMA Group of Holdings at the VIP room last March 13, 2017 from 10.00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event aims to instill entrepreneurial skills through creativity and innovation with technical assistance from NAMA Group of Holdings. Eventually the students will act as "NAMA Ambassadors" in IBRICT.

Mr. AL Miqdad Rashid Al Nomani, one of the development program’s ambassadors, spearheaded the said event. He demonstrated how to innovate renewable energy sources from solar, waste management and wind mills for the rationalization and sustainable development of electricity consumption in Oman. Nearly 45 students from Business, IT and Engineering departments participated in the program. They took their part by creating various models of all renewable energy methods.

Mr. Manikandan Sathyamoorthy, in behalf of the entrepreneurship committee of BSD, thanked the IBRICT management, OJT College Committee, and NAMA Holdings for organizing such event.
