47th National Day celebrated in the English Language Centre

On the 47th glorious National Day, the Students’ Activities Committee conducted various activities to cherish this blessed day. The respected dean of college Dr. Said Masoud Ali Kashoob and the honored guests participated by visiting the various stalls exhibited by students. The committee carried out the following activities.
- Decorating the ELC corridor
- Organizing Students’ Talents Corner
- Conducting National Day Competitions
- Presenting a Speech on the Importance of National Day
All the activities would not have been done without the help of the active members of the English Society from different levels. Three winners were nominated for the National Day competition. The winners were Aya Hamad Al- Mazroui, Roudha Khalifa Zaid Al-Hatmi and Aida Hamad Abdulla Albadi.
The Social Activities Committee also contributed to the Oman National Day Celebrations by conducting a wonderful gathering of all ELC staff. In that event, everybody tasted the traditional Omani food, cakes and Omani Halwa. The College guests also took part in that event proudly.
