In the series of sessions planned for the development of staff, the Staff Research and Consultancy Committee of Business Studies Department organized a workshop on “AN INTRODUCTION TO PREZI” at Ibri College of Technology on May 4, 2017
Mr. Salim Al Maqbali, ELC lecturer and speaker of the said workshop, presented the “zooming presentation editor” of software PREZI as an alternative presentation tool inside classrooms instead of the traditional power point presentation.
The presenter enlightened and trained the audience how to create slides, edit presentations, and animation effects for effective presentations. He also explained how to save the presentations and how it can be downloaded. Furthermore, he emphasized the advantages and disadvantages of using PREZI in the classroom.
The workshop was highly instructive and useful to business faculty members as a teaching tool in classrooms. The program was headed by Dr. Sanjay Saha, Head of Human Resource Section and Ms. Safiya Al Hamdi, Head of Accounting Section of the Business Studies Department.
