Effective SCL Methodologies

Mr. Wasim started with casual discussions about teachers’ experiences on SCL and its effectiveness. He emphasized observing good SCL practices at IBRICT, as it is in line with the college vision to deliver high quality student centered learning.
Mr Wasim discussed many techniques which can be adopted in routine classroom teaching, as well as outdoor activities so that students’ interest in learning is persistent and curiosity to know more is alive. He also appealed to teaching staff members to adopt new methodologies to improve the impact of teaching and appreciated efforts from the staff who are already following many techniques.

In the end the HoS of the Mathematics section appreciated Mr Wasim for his volunteering efforts to conduct the seminar on SCL methodologies. He also informed the audience that these kinds of activities are required to overcome the shortcomings pointed out by auditors.

The seminar received overwhelming response from the staff members of the Information Technology Department and drew 21 attendees. In the end, feedback was collected from members. Over 70% of staff members are willing to attend a similar seminar in future. The majority of them showed satisfaction on the arrangements done. On the scale of 5 average feedback is 4.06.
