The presentation was organized by the Entrepreneurship Committee, Department of Business Studies, in coordination with College OJT Committee in the Multi-Purpose Hall, on 25 October 2017. It started at 12.00 p.m.
The welcome address was given by Dr. Sanjay Saha (Hos- HR) and the session was enlightened by Mr. Sasidharan Pillai, Contract and Commercial Manager, Ibri Independent Power Project. The speaker presented his bundle of experiences to the students about the importance of keeping environment Clean and healthy while prospering in business.
He discussed the various steps to be followed, to set up one’s own business, as per Oman legislation. He also emphasized the need to create a safe environment without affecting the surroundings and to start the business in various sectors by showing practical examples through power point presentation in a simple way.
The students were inculcated on the environmental issues before starting any business and they got an opportunity to know importance of keeping the environment safe for all.
The program ended at 1:30 pm with Dr. Sanjay Saha (HoS – HR) awarding the Resource Person with a certificate. It was successfully conducted and on behalf of Entrepreneurship Committee I thank the College Management, Heads of Business Studies department and OJT College Coordinator Mr. Zaid Al-Badi and faculty members of the Business Studies Department.
