The Engineering Department of Ibri College of Technology conducted their On-the-Job Training (OJT) Orientation Program for their students on September 20, 2017, at 12:00 noon, in the Multi-Purpose Hall, in the Engineering Building.

Engineering Students who have complied with all of their academic requirements under the various specializations: Electrical Power, Electronics & Telecommunication, and Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, and those who have only one or two courses left in Diploma level, and who have no immediate plans to proceed to Advance Diploma are eligible to undergo OJT.

Omanization is well underway and job seekers have better chances of landing in jobs they prefer when employers see OJT experiences in the resume.

Mr. Mohammed Tahir, OJT Coordinator of the IbriCT Engineering Department, spoke to the 11 students present; others were in their workplaces and couldn’t come. He instructed them on how to properly document and record their work experiences in the company where they have been placed. He reiterated the necessity of complying with each one of the requirements, so that their OJT will be credited to them and they will be eligible for graduation
