ITD spearheads Specialization Orientation Program

The Information Technology Department conducted a specialization orientation program on March 12, 2017. This orientation is especially organized for the students moving to advanced diploma level for the second semester of the present academic year. The objective of this program is to give an idea on various IT specializations available in Colleges of Technology.
Ms. Nasim AL Balushi, IT Lecturer and Mr. Rajasekran, Registration Department discussed brief information about specializations on Internet & E-security and Software Engineering. Furthermore, job opportunities related to all the specializations, various certification programs and comparisons between Database and Software Engineering, Networking and Internet & E-Security were also presented.
Mr.Rajasekeran informed the students about the department plan to open specializations according to the number of students. According to the discussion, the students can study the common course this coming summer semester. They can also choose their specialization and register in the ministry system through the advisee management system on or before March 13, 2017.
